My hydraulic connections were not, but my tractor is 5 years old. They are easy to tell apart so you can look at them and see. You may be thinking about the FEL quick connect system or that may be what the dealer was referring to. That is actually the mechanical attachment of the grapple to the loader arms and most new tractors are skid steer compatible. But this probably doesn't apply to the actual hydraulic quick connect couplers in the rear remotes. But its not a big deal. Whoever makes your hydraulic hoses and installs the hydraulic controls can add whatever connects that are appropriate. One end will clip in to your tractor remotes (usually an Ag style or I think its called Pioneer) and the other will connect to the pigtail coming off the grapple, which is the skid steer type that I was referring to that usually comes with the grapple. Connects run around $50 a pair, I think, so its a minor cost. My problem arose when they connected my grapple at my dealer on a Friday afternoon, they did not have these parts, and I was anxious to get it finished by the weekend, so I had to drive 25 miles to a dealer who stocked the proper connections. They are simple to switch over fom one to the other. Unfortunately I have a pair of skid steer connects worth $50 laying around unused.
