Thanks for the info and the link. So what did you end up doing for the switch? I'm trying to find a good way to incorporate that with the joystick I have now (with built in rabbit turtle switch) or see if there is a different joystick that can have both of them.

I went with this "boy racer" shift knob:

I guess most use it for a nitrous oxide kit. I like the flip down cover as it prevents me from activating the grapple circuit by accident. The only problem I've had so far is pressing the button when I'm wearing heavy leather gloves. I'll try to remember to post a picture of it on the tractor tonight.

To each his own, but I'm happy with running lines from the back and using the rear control, which is about three or four inches from the joystick.

Good for you MP. I'm sure you saved a lot of money going in that direction. Unfortunately I only have one rear remote which I use for my 3 pt. top link. The handle for it is under the seat on the right about 2' away from the FEL control knob. My cutter pretty much stays on the tractor so I use the top link constantly. I find the fine control of the dump/curl & grapple open/close circuit to be especially useful when coming at something big from directly above. In any case, the diverter really worked out well for me.

Doing a little more looking I think I'm actually looking to do a 3rd function joystick/switch for the grapple and not just a divertor valve. Depending on what I can find for parts of course that way I can use my rear remote, FEL in lift as well as curl and the grapple all at the same time. Just need to find a 3rd function joystick and an electric switch controlled valve (not just a on/off divertor valve). Of course till I get all that figured out I might just run a hose from the rear remote to use in the meantime.

(BTW- I like the "GO-BABY-GO" switch you used :))

Yeah, I was too cheap to go with the high-dollar ones I found out there and I'm not talented enough to build my own like some on TBN. I swear my tractor seems to go faster since I added it, but then again my car seems to go faster after a wash it....:confused2:

I ended up moving my remote valve to the right fender so it's just behind the FEL stick and I think it works fine. But then my 1952 dozer doesn't have any juice drives so I'm used to having ... lets see .... 7 sticks to deal with if you want to count the throttle.
