Looks real good, Sanman,

At first I questioned the use of a toggle switch, but of course it should be just fine, since the loader valve only sends fluid when it is moved off center. Like have a grapple of my own someday...

Nice work!

Wow, That is GREAT!
I think I should call the SurplusCenter and see if I can get a commission for all these diverters they seem to be selling lately!

just finished the major portion of the grapple yesterday an just like finishing touches, such as a little paint here/there, hose ID an a few other adjustments.
I like the "thumb toogle switch" because it gives me just enough time to thank before acting, an I can glance down at itan know exactly what I want to do before applying pressure. It works really good for me.

Nice looking additions Sanman. That's a beefy looking grapple how does it handle the weight of a tree? It looks like it it shaped so that things won't easily slip out of it.

Do you have any pictures to post on the construction of the grapple itself?

PineRidge,
I didn't have anything to go by but pictures of other grapples. I first made parts from wood to get an idea of what it would like. then figured out cylinder travel an mounting points and got started welding. I put a little more turn at the points and cut in about four inches of teeth. I hadn't had time to really test it except on a pile of RR ties with know problems at all.
