It weighs 300 pounds and sits at least a foot in front of your quick attach plate. You'd be lucky to lift 400 with it.

Adjustable forks would be nice; like you I find the PT forks too narrow a lot of times.

But since those forks weigh 200# more than my forks, that is a non-starter. I pick up stuff at or beyond my capacity all the time, and I wouldn't give up an additional 200# of lift capability.

I totally agree about the weight. I already have the or forks but was thinking about these also. Then I would have the or forks for heavy loads and the Titan forks for wide loads

You're also going to have to add/subtract some mounting material and a quick attach. That may add or subtract weight as well. As long as you are aware.

I know if I use my large bucket I can fill it with patio blocks and tip on my nose fairly easily. I also have picked up some huge logs (for a 1500 pound machine) with the PT forks and tip on nose from time to time. I wouldn't want to add too much weight out away from the quick attach plate if at all possible.

Anyone know what the PT grapple bucket or utility grapple weigh?

Don't know the exact weight, but I'd guess the Class 8 grapple bucket to weigh about 100 lbs. I can wrestle it around fairly readily when unmounted.

The Power -Trac 29" T3424 Utility Grapple seems to be a better solution for your PT-425. $800

I keep looking at that factory utility grapple and I'm convinced I could bend it with abuse. I bent the forks with abuse, rather easily, too. Using them to pry stumps out of the ground.

I like the looks of their grapple bucket, though.

I used mine a lot since 2010. It's heavy iron - not easily bent. I have never bent it. I recently move a tree that had fallen across my road -probably 500 lbs.
