When you buffed the slip plate what did you use for this ? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Your not alone .Both of my Kubota's do the same thing and Ive tried slip plate and several other things with no luck.Even changed to a higher lift blade and that only helped a little,maybe someone will come up with something.

I saw someone mention Gator blades. I've been told by others that they helped on the lift and minimized clogging.

Have not had this problem and I run fast enough to keep the governor kick'n pretty regularly. Sounds like a super tip that I'll file away for future reference.

fordman, My best solution was let the wife cut the yard I'll stick to the pasture /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Now she gets to deal with cleaning up afterwards... Hey she even does the weed eating.... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
