Gravel Driveway Question

   / Gravel Driveway Question #11
I agree with the Junkman about the water. Whether it's running down or just sitting on your driveway, water is the enemy. So be sure you take care of the drainage when you work it over or all your hard work will be in VAIN! I had the same sort of trouble with mine until I built a "turn-out" to divert the water into the woods before it had a chance to gush down the slope of my driveway. My turn-out is basically like a compacted gravel speed bump at an oblique angle to the drive. You may need several.
