It should have the K181 series Kohler. The Main should be 2 turns off the seat, and the idle 1-1/4 turns off the seat, for the initial settings. You may need to do some slight tweeking once you get it running.
I just got my old 856 Wheel Horse running, with a K181. I did tear the carb down for a clean-up. One thing I noticed was the bottom (just before the taper on the end) crossed drilled hole in the main jet was clogged. A fine strand of copper wire out of automotive type wire, plus some carb cleaner cleaned it nicely.
This tractor hasn't been run for 6-8 years, but I do remember the last time it ran, it had a tendency to surge. So you may want to back that Main jet out, and check it.
:thumbsup:Thanks Dj54.... I'll try it. I'll have my phone with me down there in the garden that's 1/2 mile away but not good reception. If I get hung up, I may need some more support.
