Hi:

I have a NH TC25D that cuts most of my place, but there are some sizable parts that have slopes that make me nervous when cutting with that tractor. There is a dealer going out of business - offering a Gravely Home ZT1944 for $2600. This looks to be about $1000 less than the going price. Seems like a ZT would be safer on those hills, and this seems like a pretty good deal. I know this is a step down in beefiness from commercial grade, but amount of use doesn't seem to warrant commercial unit. Any thoughts on this particular unit? Anybody have one? How is it?

Thanks,

Jim

I have a friend who has one about that size, maybe 16 hp? anyway, he's had a few problems, a broken axle being the worst. He says the warranty covered it all. And he says it's really rough riding. I'm a fan of Gravely, having had a two wheeler since 1978, but I'd shop around.
