The fitting itself is not the problem, it seems there is a bushing in the eye that has spun and no longer allows grease into the joint. I tried drilling one out with a nitro bit after removing the pin to no avail. Has anyone ever dealt with this?

This is on a 1998 JD 310e backhoe

Drive out bushing and turn it or get new one
It spun for a reason though
