Grease Gun Pains

Does anyone use this?

Legacy: Product Details 800-645-8258

I emailed for price and have not heard back yet.

I like the idea of one handed operation and it does have high pressure if needed.

"grease fitting rejuvenator"

they are fairly pricey ($40) but i don't mind buying tools if they work or i have a need for one...

one fella here (didn't read the rest this time through) said it fixed his.......

i have one on my ATV that doesn't want to take grease......i replaced the fitting and it's the same thing.......

i think i may have one on the tractor too.......

any suggestions on fixing the "stuck" fittings without the rejuvenator?

any experience with a rejuvenator?

Not yet... will post when I hear something.

I also contacted several other manufacturers. EVERY grease gun I find at the auto parts store is made in China...

Several models available...;)

They will also drive the oil down into the dryed grease...(Read OLD FARM EQUIPMENT that seemed to NEVER have been greased since IKE...)

If you replace the fitting and it still won't take grease, try backing the fitting off a quarter to half turn and then see if it will take.

Sometimes the tip of the fitting will seat against an internal part and block itself from passing grease.

Doesn't always work but is worth a try!

That rejuvenator is in the shape of a ball point pen. You put oil in the end and put it on the grease fitting and hit it with a hammer. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It is designed for straight grease fittings. If you try it with a 90 degrees fitting, you may knock the grease fitting out of the threads. If it doesn't unclog it, there is usually a force pressing on the base of the grease fitting, blocking things. It may help to turn the barrel or rod that you are trying to grease. That has helped in some situations.
