Grease Gun

I have asked the question and have not recieved a satisfactory answer. My thought is this. Short of the extraORDINARY EXAMPLE OF ELECTRONICS BEING LOCATED NEARBY (NICE CARPET WOULD ALSO BE A PROBLEM) i WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS too much lube on mechanical equip (assuming clean lube).
sorry about the caps but I'm too lazy to fix it.
Also assuming no cv boot!

You may want to try the "pistol grip" grease gun with flex hose. The "pistol grip allows you to hold AND pump the grease gun with one hand and hold the hose on the zerk with the other hand. Picture.

Forgot to mention they are around $30.

Is there not two sizes of zerks,US and metric. The reason he switched the tip was to the other type. I had the same problem until I switched to metric greae gun tip. But then again maybe the new tip just fit tighter.

Derek...

I bought one of the John Deere pistol grip squeeze guns the other day. Works like a charm... especially in tight places where it's difficult to pump a handle.
