I have an older woods flex wing that the outside gear boxes would always leak when stored folded up. I pulled the covers and filled it full of cotton spindle grease back before covid. Still use it 3-5 times a year and I have no oil residue dripping down the wing when stored. it does leak out a very small bit when i'm done with it for the day, as I guess the grease is all liquid from the temp at that point. This trick was given to me by a local tractor dealer and I am a believer.
