I use Valvoline #W633 Moly-fortified ....Multipurpose grease for Ford..Lincoln..Mercury...because the same grease is used in my Ford truck and and Crown Vic. Thus only one grease gun and one grease type is stocked in my garage. I think it meets Kubota specs.
Kubota B3200/L2501/SVL65-2/U35-4, IH 454/656, Ford NAA, Case 1845C/480E/450C LGP
I use the red premium truck and tractor grease from TSC. Between my farming and my business I use a lot and just buy it by the case. Have been using it for years with good results.
My Kubota dealer is also a New Holland dealer. They recommend New Holland Ambra grease for the Kubota and everything else. I have been using Ambra for three years on my tractor and all my attachments. I think greasing at the proper intervals is more important than the type of grease used as long as it is good quality grease. I figure New Holland should know how to make good grease to use on farm equipment.
I've seen the Kubota grease tubes at the dealer-moly-disulphide grease, the black stuff.I also use the Valvoline 633.Been using moly for over 30 years with excellent results.
So. The cheapest multipurpose grease from the box store is not adequate? What is the difference? I certainly over grease my tractor but I might be using something that is no good. (???)
