I have a Kioti dk50 that had ball joint failure at 100 hrs. These ball joints are attached to the steering shaft. The tie rod is outer this is inner joint(it is horizontal). Kioti replaced them under warranty. They are over 200 dollars a piece. My question is can I tap them for a grease fitting or would this damage the joint? What about using a grease needle on my grease gun to inject some grease through the boot?
