Great Bend BH for 7500??

 / Great Bend BH for 7500?? #11
I have a B7500 with a Kubota 4672 BH. It is a 3pt and it will easily lift the rear wheels off the ground idling with the bucket or the stabilizers. With the lower arms adjusted properly it is very solid, nothing moves. I feel it is a very well designed unit. I take it off and on regularly. I've never had a BH before, so I can't really compare to a subframe, but I really don't have any problems with this unit and I have pushed it pretty hard. I would think that the GB would be very comparable.

The hoe is solid with the exception of a little up and down movement. The stabilizers will lift the tractor a little but the wheels never actually leave the ground. You must have an exceptional set up! My L4610 is a heavy tractor, which might be part of the problem. It does take some acclimation to use a small hoe after using nothing but large machines. A dedicated hoe would be nice but not a fiscal possibility at this time. If mr. Murphy would kindly get off my shoulder /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif things would come together nicely.

I have a B2910 with a Kubota 4690 backhoe. I have no problems lifting the rear tires off the ground with the stabilizers.
It must be the weight of your 4610 that keeps yours from rising. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
There are times when digging with the backhoe. I wish I had that kind of weight to hold my tractor in place. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks all, I am feeling better already. I really want the BH but was almost to the point of scratching it. The dealer will install a heavy top arm bracket. His comments echo what I have heard here, vis a vis proper adjustment of the lower arms being key. I assume that your comments regarding lifting the tractor suggests the stability and strength of the TPH arrangement. Strength of materials and overengineering of systems is one of my hangups. I can't imagine what I would have done without all the help I have gotten here.
