I live in Regina, SK, Canada and the tractor is here with me. It has clear title cleared of any obligations or fees (no lien) and it it registered in US, I've just moved here. It will be shipped from Regina and I'll pay the delivery costs.

I want to close this deal through eBay. They will keep the amount paid until you'll receive, inspect and agree with the tractor. I'll start the delivery process in the same day with the payment confirmation. It will arrive at your address in 5-7 days. I will give you 3 days for inspection.

Tell me if you are still interested and I will contact eBay regarding our transaction. Then they will send you the information about the purchasing.

People run scams like this on trailers all the time. "I moved to Washington state, and the trailer is Oklahoma. I will have the trailer shipped to you when I receive payment."

CL is loaded with scams. Usually it's the same ad placed in multiple cities. Ebay used to have a ton of them too but they've goten better at weeding them out.

If it sounds too good to be true....IT IS.

DON'T count on the message you may get to be from Ebay...

Invite him to place a buy it now listing on Ebay...
Then when he sends you the listing item number, you will read the add and if the description on Ebay is correct you will purchase it immediately... Of course he will not do this, so it will verify what you already know... KennyV

Surely pol do not do this! How us this legal? The more I looked thru Craigslist, different cities... He is everywhere! I asked him if he seriously thought we would send him 5000 dollars prior to seeing the tractor! There ought to be a way to stop this

Some shmuck told me the same thing a while back. Except the deal was on a Deere. Actually Googled the guys e-mail address and it came up in the listings for doing fraudulent deals.
