Nice shot of the M/V Hon. James L. Oberstar loading at CN in Duluth MN just a few minutes before sunrise! The pile of material behind the dock is the reserve pellets waitng to be loaded.

One of my favorite boats and a taconite 1000 footer the Edwin H. Gott departs Duluth with UTAC pellets for Cleveland, a port she hasn't visited since 2005. A beautiful morning in the Zenith City. Duluth, MN on May 9-23 This is the most powerful boat on the lakes at nearly 20,000hp.

CN’s 16:00 Proctor Switch dumps Minntac pellets on dock 6 while the John G. Munson loads on 5/11/23. This is in Duluth MN.

Clyde S. VanEnkevort/Erie Trader departs C. Reiss and passes CN Dock 6 on its way to load ore at Silver Bay. I thought it was interesting that Clyde took the north channel to/from Reiss (notice how close it is to the dock). Duluth, MN - May 12, 2023

Breaking news the Mark Barker went aground by Belle isle MI reports are it lost propulsion and went arie. The Barker is back on the move today.
