I just learned on another forum that there have been a lot of stripped axle splines on RZT mowers and possibly Z-Force.

To prevent this from happening, make SURE that the rear wheel hub bolts are kept tight. Once loose, the spline moves around and strips.

The information was specifically talking about a half inch shaft, which would be the RZT unit, but it sounds like this is a good inspection tip for a Z-Force as well.

Just wanted to pass this valuable info along to my Cub friends here on the forum.

Have a great day,
Doc

Yeah that has been a problem for RZT's in our area...never seen it happen to a Z-force
