The truck is a different matter. What do you suggest.

Unfortunately, with twice the tractor, twice the implements, and twice the payments, you find twice the amount of work to do, lose half your free time, half your discretionary income, and maybe even your "better half!" /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It would be nice to find some kind of release coating that could be applied. I have the same kind of clay. When digging in it with a hand shovel, you have to have another shovel to scrape off the one you are using.

The bucket payload typically goes down by 50% by the end of the project and it takes a bit of work with a shovel and spray washer to get it all back out again when done.

For the snow blade, I wax it real good in the fall. I wonder if wax would help for dirt.

It might be worth trying a quick coat of "Slip Plate" aeresol graphite paint. It will wear off pretty fast, but you might get a better release. They don't make it in green or orange , though. Wet clay may just stick to anything and everything in the long run.

Just get on the machine and keep saying to your self "It's a tractor, I bought it to work...it's a tractor, I bought it to work..."

Then start digging...

Yesterday I used my 990 in the wet snow and it got all wet. I just can't see getting my rig all scratched and dented. It does not take that much to be more cautious and not dent it all up. One thing I hate is when farmers bring their tractor in for service and it looks like crap and beat to heck. I think to myself now if they just took a little better care of it they would not have big dents, faded paint and broken switches. I know there a tractor and meant for work but some don't even check the front wheel drive fluid on their big JD 9400s. One thing that hurts tractors it leaving manure on them for long periods of time. It rusts the metal and leaves a nice white film on the paint. I don't know if you noticed this Roy but there expensive. Just like to keep it in real, real good shape same goes for my cars. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They are expensive, but it is hard for me to get my money back out of it if I can't use it as needed. If I break something I put the cash down and fix it,the key is to maintain it,if you use it hard you are going to spend more money in maintaining it properly.
