Good deal and thanks for posting

PS, your garage is too clean and so is your tractor!
Just kidding.

The tractor is not quite as clean as it was.:(

I once had a pressure washer. I don't have one currently, but that's on the "want list." I think a small electric one is all I really need. Too much pressure can be rough on paint.

Todd -
I rechecked. This Fisher plow is set up so only the cutting edge trips. Even the original pickup truck mounting system was welded rigidly to the blade. Fisher is the most popular make around here. I know that some other systems rock the whole blade. Thanks for the "heads up" anyway.

I am glad you commented on that, I was wondering about that., I see the pivot bolt on the right side now, My friend you got a heck of a lot of tractor for 20 grand. Happy tractoring:thumbsup:

Since I last posted here, I moved several rocks and pulled several small (mostly rotten) stumps.

I also used the tractor as a "diesel wheelbarrow" to bring in firewood from a Beech tree that I cut last spring, but just now got around to take care of.

Today, I pulled out a stump that was about 2.5 times as big as the first one I showed you earlier. After I got it loosened up, it was a bit of a hassle to get it rolled out of the hole with the hoe.

I chained the stump to the bucket, using my new bucket hooks (see my thread on Ken's Bolt On Grab Hooks in the Customization forum). The loader had no problem lifting this beast. I definitely carried it it low and slow on the way to my waste area. It felt a little light on the rear, but never came off the ground.

I'm bumping up my old thread to add a significant piece of information. Today, I paid my wife the last of the $6,000 she lent me toward the purchase. I own every nut and bolt of my Green Machine now.:D

Even though we did not take a loan from outside the household, it feels good to have it paid off.

I think the next attachment is going to be a wood chipper. I've heard that a friend has one that he does not use and might be willing to sell. I don't have the details on it yet, because he's still enjoying his winter vacation in Florida. When he comes back, I'll check it out.

Can't imagine the interest rate on that loan!:laughing:

Does feel good to own it... but then you get that itch to go get something else. And it looks like you caught that real quick:thumbsup:

Sounds like you have a great/trusting wife.

Congrats, it has to be an awesome feeling!

Good fun.. er, good work!! Looks like a great setup! Noticed something about your loader bucket, too. Is that a Worksite Pro bucket? Sure looks like it - with the JD quick attachment.

That's a first.. most Worksite Pro attachments are skid steer.
