Hello from Dexter, Maine. I recently purchased a Mahindra 1526 with FEL and backhoe. It all happened thanks to my girlfriend suggesting I buy a tractor instead of a snowblower. I've been lurking on the site for few weeks and looking forward to spring so a can learn how to dig some ground!

I have 34 acres, mostly wooded. There's some draining ditches I need to work on and old tote roads to make better accessible. Also we have plans to make our garden a little bigger, where there are plenty of rocks and trees that need removing. Now you know why she wanted a tractor.

I don't blame her then. That would be a lot of manual labor and I am sure she is worried that it would put her flat on her back in no time.

Of course, if you would go out and help her once in a while you could get a lot more accomplished. :laughing:
