Hello everyone! My wife and I have just started raising chickens. We got the chicks last April and tonight lost our first to a predator. That is how I found this website. I'm looking forward to meeting the members and gaining knowledge raising and protecting our chickens.

I'm not too far from you. I've been through your town many times as a kid on our way to various lakes for fishing.

We raise a few birds down here, and have good luck using a mobile coop and portable poultry netting from Premier One out of Iowa.

Was it an airborne predator or four legged?
