I don't see much of them. I'm sure winter has slowed them down.

Those dudes are a train wreck. Thereç—´ no way it can be true how bad they are. Any local perspective to the guy that was allegedly shooting at them? Weæ±*e team Parker in this household

My wife and I watch every "team Parker" episode.
Ashley from Oz, is a cute addition to the program.
Being old folks ourselves, we dearly miss the grandpa!

Welcome. SouthparkMark.

South Park is one of my favorite parts of Colorado.

My moms side of the family is from Victor. I still have cousins that live in Cripple Creek and Victor.

I was though there a year ago, it sure has changed over the years.

When I was a kid there was still gold dredges up there. One east of town on the Platte and one up by Alma.

Hope you have a good time here.

CWB.

I don't get that program on my Dish package. I have heard that the locals are up in arms about them and the other miners that are messing up the environment/water and so on. Personally, I don't like the way the fishing pond in Fairplay is getting full of silt from the up stream mining. I hope they don't make the area a big mess. I don't think that the progam on TV clarifies that there are others contributing to the problem.

Wish I could come out there from Kansas to help you saw them logs. Looks like fun. Is that spruce you're sawing?
The problem is my lungs are adapted to about 1500' above sea level and 9500' makes them uncomfortable.

The logs in the picture being cut were Ponderosa Pine. Some of those logs were real colorful inside. Some cabinets for a Fudge shop were made with that wood.
The altitude can be a problem for those from a lower altitude. The best way to come up here from a lower altitude is to stay in Denver for a few days then come on up. Take it easy and drink plenty of water until you get your sea legs so to speak.
I buy logs by the semi load. I have Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Lodge Pole Pine, sometimes some spruce, Aspen and other varieties. Once in a while I get some Bristle Cone Pine.
Thanks for the shout out.
Here are some pics of the Fudge cabinets.
