We were just down in SA a couple weeks ago.. Crazy busy in the downtown.. 5 miles west was much nicer...

Yes it is very busy in St Augustine this time of year. I live about 18 miles west. Still a lot of potato farms in my area.

Hastings/Elkton/Spuds part of the world? I work the Sr207 cordor a Lot. Its not too far from growth out that way soon, but also lot of cabbage/potoates/swamp.

Yeah, town is definitely getting close. Years ago, as soon as you passed I-95, you were Out of town, not so much now, till you hit Sr13, although I between Sr16 and Sr207, its more pockets of development, not every thing out there.

I'm not sure of the route # .. but we were staying in Crescent City this past winter ( Renegades on the river ) . We would take 17 to 207 ( I think ) to go to Saint Augustine.. but a few miles down 207 ..? .. there is a left turn that will take you north up a road that runs along the River as well.. very nice road and scenery.. I was always looking for a for sale sign on that road.

County Road 13 is the road you are thinking of that runs up the east side of the St John's river. For slightly cheaper, larger lots, with lower taxes, check out the Federal Point part of the world, Unicorporated Putnam county, between East Palatka and Hastings, but on the river.

I was actually in Crescent City, Pomona Park, and Satsuma this afternoon.
