Greetings
This is my first post to this recently discovered forum.
I am in the late stages of negotiations for a Yanmar 1401D and am not very well informed about this model of tractor. I am asking the group for info about the attached tiller. This tractor, it appears, was imported with the tiller attached and I'm wondering if it will be easily removed to attach a three point hitch kit in it's place. The tiller is bolted to the back of the transmission with four studs. I have read the manuals that come with the unit but nothing is said about the factory tiller. Are parts available?
Another question: I test drove the tractor yesterday after I read the manuals. Everything looked to be operational but I couldn't find the Hi-Lo range lever for the transmission. Just to the right of the transmission gear lever, there is a lever that seemed to shift from 2WD to 4WD but it didn't seem to go from Hi range to Lo range. The operators manual didn't cover this point. Any help out there?
Thanks in advance for the help.
