My name is Joseph and my wife and I have six children and live on a 41 acre homestead in the Ozarks (Arkansas). Just bought a 1973 Ford 2000 tractor and I知 having trouble starting it. Go figure a city boy buys a tractor and can稚 start it. Maybe someone can shed some light on my problem. Stay tuned for my post explaining the problem. Thanks.

I think that age tractor has a fuel bowl under the gas tank and it may have some water in it. Try checking that as a place to start.
