\"grey market\" B7100

I think I own a B7100 which appears to really be a "grey market" B7001. It has a D750A 16 hp engine like the B7100 but my problem is that I need engine parts and there is a serial number "break" in the parts list that doesn't correlate to any numbers on my machine. I can't tell which parts will fit my machine. Anyone know much about grey market machines?

Re: \"grey market\" B7100

I just bought a B7001 grey machine and have a B7100 parts manual. B7100 machines were manufactured over a long period of time. There is a newer and an older series using some different part numbers. ie like the fuel cap I just replaced. The B7001 parts probably correspond to the early series B7100. Your dealer probably is referring to the newer series parts book.

Bob,
If you don't get the answer you need here, try posting under the grey market forum rather than Kubota Owning. You may get more help.

My question is...

Why do you think that you have a B7100 and/or why do you think that you have a B7001?

I believe that most B7100 (at least the older ones like mine) have serial numbers that start with B7001, if that is what is confusing you.
