Here in VA, you can simply pick up a $2 FARM USE plastic tag from Tractor Supply and your 'usually' good to go: no registration, no inspections, BUT if you ever get in an accident....you just offered up your homeowner's insurance especially if you're not truly a farm doing Ag work
