Grey Market Yanmar adivce Wanted

Stated that I should get a 2310 as its the same motor as a 2500

I'm sure he was just saying that the two engines were of similar power & design.

the 2500 is a 2 cylinder and not even close to the same tractor.

The 2500 & the 2310 are both 3 cylinder tractors.

Thats what I thought. Both 3 cylinder engines. Thanks. I was just waiting for someone with more knowledge than me to clear that up.

Aaron you are right it was a quick response on my part I was thinking 2200 but definitely not similar tractors.

good morning,

i bought a Yammy 2000 from southcircle tractor in alex, la.(they have a website www.southcircletractor.com) nice people........package deal, 16', tandem trailer, 4' brush cutter, boom pole, 4' box blade.....about $5500(i forgot, senior moment), 6 month drive train warranty, excellent compression, would run all day on about 1 1/2 gal. of fuel......fair tires, rice field lugs, no tire problems, new paint, and battery, coolant, etc., 3 speed PTO....recon vietnam....used it about 3 yrs... got my money back on resale....the only repair i did was fuel filter and two fuel lines...and routine oil changes about every 50 hrs....

if you get one make sure you check often for water condensate in fuel tank, other wise it was a great little unit and i would buy another...

with the 2310 at least you would have power shift .but,Loose a little hp. Between these 2 (2500- 2310) tractors. In my opinion, I would give up a little h.p. in favor of the power shift
