Grill Guard - 6000 w/FEL

Does anyone make, or is there a need for a grill guard for the 6000 with an FEL ? The FEL is an ML260. I'm concerned that when loading bales onto a trailer, that with the FEL lifted high, that the grill could bang into the trailer and smash it to pieces.

Yeap. They sure do. Ask your dealer. Should be no problem with getting one. It is pretty HD and will only protect against the big stuff. I alsways considered putting some kind of mesh on mine but never did.

My dealer said he asked and didn't find anything. Can you share with me your dealer ? Is this a Mahindra part or some other after market solution ?

If you have a loader made by Great Bend the guard is available, but if you have a KMW loader there is not one available at this time. If you have a Great Bend loader and want a grill guard we can help you out. www.OutbackTractor.com

That last post is mostly true. KMW does not make a grill guard for the 6000 2WD that can be used with the loader on. There is one available to those who want a Grill guard when not using a loader.

Yeap, these guys are probably right. I have the Great Bend loader and just assumed that was what you were talking about. You can check with my dealer at alsequipment.com. I guess I'm a little supprised any dealer would sell the tractor with the KMW loader.
