Many years ago A PD where I lived had no radar to check speed, but they did have a dog named Radar. And signs.

This really did make me groan. I've been watching youtube clips of Leno's "Jaywalking" where he goes out on the street and asks people various questions about history. This apparently is a takeoff of that, done by students... The enclosed screenshot is from their video.
