My BIL was the Chief of their fire department and he sent me some still photos of meth fires. Don't know what caused that explosion, but the still photo sure looks like the ones he sent me. A narrow, very tall column of flames. Just an observation as I'm sure there are other things that could cause that.

The house explosion, is from 2018 in St. Paul MN, was determined to be from a natural gas leak.
