Funny, they usually went crying to grandma after that
I had the "Look" that I could give the older two. They would knock it off and settle down.
I give that same look to the youngest (1yo today) and he starts laughing his little head off at me!!!

I did that very thing in 1947; Central Grade School, Pierce City, Mo. Only my knee hit a sharp rock, tore my overalls, made a deep cut about 3/4 of an inch long, and deep. I frankly don't remember even telling the teacher.
