ground clearance question-DK35 vs CK30

It appears the ground clearance of the DK35 is lower than the ground clearance for the CK30.Is that a reason not to buy the DK 35? Is it a problem? It would be used for pasture mowing, pushing manure, moving snow, etc. It has to be able to get across a somewhat rough stream crossing.

The DK35 has funny stiffening bars running from the loader bracket to the final drives. It seems to be a low point. I would opt away from the DK35 just because the ck30 is a better tractor. Er, uh, better for me when I made the decision not to buy a DK40. The undersides of these things are soft so If you are worried about it, I would plan on belly pan protection anyway.

The DK35 seems to be on its way out. That older style is rumored to be going away to be replaced by a CK30/DK45s style unit. I wouldn't want a tractor that iwas deemed obsolete and updated right away. Current production seems prefferable.

I personally have found the several DK35s that I've used to be just fine. The small difference in clearance wouldn't deter me from buying one if I want one. It's a good strong tractor, and as a matter-of-fact, there is probably less chance of hurting the underside of the DK35 than the long hanging trans. filter on the CK30. They are both excellent tractors, with different features and benefits.
