Ground Cover Plant Advice

I grow a good crop of pigweed and red clover. It gets about 6" tall and gets mowed 2 or 3 times a season. It is green but not grass.

I would put down plastic and gravel. If my wife forced me to have plants, they would be in planters.

On the grade around the shop I would put landscape barrier and stone or gravel. It will be low maintenance, and will create a barrier to help keep the mice from invading.
