groundsmaster 322D hydraulic oils

anyone know if the hydraulic system can use 10-40 motor oil, the manual says 10-40 oil, or SAE 10w-40 oil with API rating -SF-SC oil

Using "motor" oil in hydro system is pretty common. I run Mobil 1 15-40 in both of my z turns. I expect SAE 10w-40 will be fine but I don not expect you will SF-SC rated oil. Current API is SM with SN and SL still out there. SC was in the 60s and SF in the 80s. API Rating
I expect any 10w40 will work.
