Grumpy Old Guy with Old Ford

/ Grumpy Old Guy with Old Ford #11
Read about this but not sure new rims wouldn't be cheaper and safer in the long run.

The original rims on my Ford 1920 are 13" wide.
New aftermarket replacements are not available.
12" wide rims are available, and are acceptable, so I bought two.

I then took the originals to a great welder, who cut out the valve stem areas, and repaired.
Haven't done it yet, but I will sandblast the rims, and use two coast of 2 part marine epoxy.
I am not the least bit concerned about the safety of these repaired rims. They are for use on low pressure tractor tires
