Yes mike I do have an oil filter on my generator. I was using royal purple straight 30 but now switched to Mobil one 10w-30 synthetic do to price versus use since this machine sits more then it’s used /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is the syn.oil high det. oil ? My gen. states 30 wt. hd. oil . How important is h. d. oil in these small motors ?

not sure ken. the only reason i used straight 30 was because i got a good deal on a case. mine calls for 10w30 anyways not that the straight 30 would have hurt it. i just like synthtic oil in my air cooled motors. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
