How do you like the Gators on the 44"? I have 2544 with the stock blades. I've not even tried mulching yet, so I can't comment on the mulching abilities of the stock setup. I would like to give it a whirl, though, especially later in the year now and the grass isn't so 'juicy'. My trusty Lawn-Boy will totally fill up the underside of the deck if I try to mulch spring grass. What a mess!

I have Gator Blades on a 42" cut Yard Machines & like them very much.
Have not been able too find them for my 05 GT 2544.
Mulching with the stock blades seems to do a decent job. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The Gators on my 44" deck work well, leaving much less clipping shards than the stock blades, but I still tow my little Agri-Fab sweeper behind when I mow. There are still grass clumps left under the deck after mowing, especially on the left side opposite the discharge chute, but I clean the deck underside with the tractor on ramps with compressed air and a scraper after every use, takes about 5 minutes. Very happy with the Gator Blades, I safely recommed them, just watch it while installing them, they are gnarly! They should be on the market for the newer CC's soon.

I have looked through the Oregon 2007 catalog to see if there is a new Gator blade for the 759-04047 blade used on the GT2550. Anyone have any info if there is a Gator version out yet?

Thanks.

What's with all the double-postings? Did they upgrade the server to Windows Vista or something?
