I had the aforementioned small engine tech work on it.
He rebuilt the carb; I had him order a new one but the wrong part# showed up. He will put a new one in if the rebuild doesn稚 last for a year.
He blamed it on ethanol... said there was orange fuel in the bowl. I use a lot of non-ethanol in this tractor and I use only non ethanol in my 2 cycle engines and marine engine. He voted for 93 octane all the time in small engines, says it burns off the ethanol.
My dad used only 87 in his GT275 and it is still on the original carb.
