gt275 Hydro tranny problem

I have a 1996 GT 275 with Hydrostatic Tansmission. When I step on the forward pedal it will drive very slowly. Reverse does not move at all. I thought it was the traction belt so I replaced that myself last week. Same problem still exists. one thing I did notice is that my Free Wheel- the linkage that you pull when you want to push pull or tow it- will not pull out no matter what I do. Someone posted on here about something freezing in the Transmission. Does anyone know what might have happened. Where can I go to get a New Transmission online? any help is appreciated.
