i honestly like my t85 better than that smith snubby, both with bobbed hammer. t85 is lighter easier to carry.

i've got nothing against s&w.. i'm just not heavilly invested in their guns. i've got plenty of colts, and ruger's, and heck.. more keltec and tarus(rossi? ) than smiths..

Neither do I...but for many years, the S&W guys would really putdown Taurus guns on many of the firearms forums I belonged to. They probably still do look down on Taurus.

The way I look at it, it's if you want the Cadillac or the Chevy. Is the S&W just nicer all around? Sure. Can I shoot the $1000 Model 66 better than I can shoot the Taurus model 669 I paid $250 for 20 years ago. I doubt it.

I do own 2 glocks and I find them no better than my Rugers.

I don't think anyone (including me) said Glocks were better...I know they're easier then many semi-autos to take down for cleaning and a very easy gun to shoot (no controls to worry about in times of stress). They're also an easy gun to fire accidently if one doesn't keep their finger off the trigger.
As a self defense firearm, they're relatively inexpensive and a good tool...and they can live without a lot of maintenance in adverse conditions.

"Better" is like "Beauty"...it's in the eye of the beholder..

yep.. 230yds is a long shot for iron sights.. even a workout on a rifle..
