Gurgling noise

I've noticed lately that when I shut my tractor down there is a gurgling sound. Any ideas? Thanks, Len

Once yu shut it off, have a good look and see if antifreeze is being pushed back into the overflow bottle.

I had that and it was a head gasket. Exhaust gasses were pressurizing the cooling system.

Hay Dude is probably correct, but another thought is you are running borderline hot or overheating due to low fluid in the radiator.

I also had that happen, and in my case, the problem was simple and cheap.

I had regularly blown compressed air into the radiator to clean out debris, but there was still gunk that wouldn't come out. When the tractor was cool, I sprayed the radiator with a hose to clean it off better, and the problem went away.

For the OP, does this problem only happen for you after heavy use?
