Please keep JACKLYN SHIRLEY, a young girl from Coalgate, Ok in your prayers and pass this on to everyone you know. Yesterday (Friday, July
17th) Jacklyn who is about 13 years old was helping bail hay and was pulling a rake which got caught in the guy wire of an electrical pole, pulling the electrical lines all down on top of her severely electrocuting her, her shoes had 16 holes in the bottom where the electrical currents exited out her feet. The electric lines caught the tractor and the grass around it on fire and the electrical shocks from the power lines knocked her off into the grass fire resulting in more burns. Jacklyn was flown to OKC yesterday---then last night they sent her on to the Shriners burn unit in Cincinnati. Please pass her name on to any prayer chains you know of
and request prayer for her----she's a sweet little girl and her parents
are really good people, please keep them in your prayers during this time.

I don't understand how the power lines came down just by hitting the guy-wire... Do you have any more info. about that ?

Did the electric-pole fall down also ?....

I just thought maybe the pole was bad and fell when the 'guy-wire' was hit.

I have hit a lot of them with my tractor while using the bush-hog and i have hit them with my FEL, but the lines didn't fall.

This sounds like a freak-accident.

I really hope this girl makes it, and we will Pray for her!
