I here what you are saying but of you watch the video that goes with that story you will see a young person that is anything but immature. She has found her calling, is very serious about what she does and the tattoo has meaning for her.

While I personally don't like tattoos, I have a lot of respect for this person. She is a excellent example for her generation.

I'm with you on that, two things a girl can do to make herself ugly, get a tattoo and smoke. Oh well, some people like them.

There are many people who think themselves mature, sound like it, and make some kind of life-determining decision when they're 18, and in 5-10 years think better of it. I know several girls who were going to be hair dressers coming out of high school and did that and were going to make it big. Not one of them lasted more than a year or two (not that you can't make money as a cosmotologist - it's just a lot more like work than they thought it was).

I will say that I have not seen the video in question, maybe this girl has decided the course of her next 60-80 years after only stomping around for 18, but if I were a betting man (which I'm not), I'd place odds against. Young folks, of which I was one once, are capricious by nature and the only thing that changes that is experience, which is usually what you get 15 minutes after you need it.

I am firmly in the camp of finding tatoos unattractive, but I respect each individual's right to adorn themselves as they see fit. I have been around a couple of folks with regrettable tatoos. One girl that I work with got a tramp stamp when it was in vogue several years ago; about 3 years ago, got a cover for it, and last year began laser tatoo removal.

Well, everyone has their own feelings about tattoos, both for and against. That's just an "aside note" to why I posted this thread. Like haircuts, we all have our own style. My thread title was to get attention, not to reflect accuracy. We all know that lots of guys also get lots of tattoos and I'm sure Kelsie gets as greasy as the guys.

Kelsie is certainly an accomplished young person with a desire to learn something that is unusual for a young lady. I think she would certainly be welcome here on TBN, and may already be a lurker or member. I would be the first to encourage her to continue.:thumbsup:

spent 21 years in the Navy and I don't have any tattoes. Watched many folks get tattoes in Asia, looked horrible for weeks while healing.

I would...they're probably every bit as clean as any American parlor.
