Recently purchased a used Gyro Fertilize Spreader, and looking for a manual on it. Has anyone heard of these or have any manuals on them?

Can you snap a pic of the spreader? A lot of the spreaders are made by Cosmo and sold under different names. Search for Cosmo spreader and see if it looks like yours.

I have attached 2 Photos if they go through. I looked at the Cosmo models and none of them looked like the Gyro I purchased. The nameplate says Gyro- made in Denmark and the model number. The hopper has 3 bolts you loosen and the entire hopper rotates to direct direction of spread. The entire bottom of coneis missing and I don't know what kept the fertilize in it. Around the end of the cone on the hopper, is a 1/2" wide piece of steel that has the remains of a white woven fabric that appears to have extended down toward the spinner wheel, but if it did have fabric of some type, I can't figure how it kept from leaking fertilize. I woul have a good spreader if I can figure how to keep the fertilize in. Any help would be appreciate.

Sounds like you bought a spreader with the bottom of the cone (hopper) all rusted out. Truth is, until you repair/replace the bottom of the cone, it's not going to hold ANYTHING in it! Fertilizers are very corrosive to steel. If you run fertilizer through a spreader, you should clean it out as best as you can after each use, then rub all the surfaces down with diesel fuel (or spray it on) to help counteract the corrosion. That's what I've done in the past, anyway. Can you post a pic of the bottom of the cone?
