Local tire store has 8 ply in stock. Do I dare run one 8 and one 6 up front?

As long as tire dimensions are the same, you can mix plys

If you get it remounted, you may have to also then get it dismounted, patched and then remounted again, if the reason it popped off the bead was because it was flat or soft from a leak elsewhere that you can't find until you blow it back up.

I showed it to the tire guy, he didn't think it was worth mounting again. The price to replace with an 8 ply is pretty reasonable. I just need to get this one area cleared of old stumps and roots and I should be free from risks to my tires. I hope. Had a tractor on this property for 20 years and my first replacement. Thanks again for all the help!
