Hand mixing cement for a walkway ??

y brother works concrete and uses a water/mollasses mixture. He says that it keeps the top layer of cement from setting up while allowing the rest to set. then you just spray it off.

Bird, thanks for this great link. Some really good ideas on doing exposed aggregate. Sure has given me some great ideas for replacing an old and neglected brick walkway that looks pretty bad now. John
