Murph good luck later this week

i had my first hand (R) last thursday, in and out of the day surgery center in 90 minutes,
what a well oiled machine they have going on there!

We try and our Surgery Center Division is known for ortho and eyes...

Makes a huge difference when you have a team that specializes in the procedure and has worked together.

It is the specialization and efficiency that makes for good outcomes.

Thanks Bird! I can finally move some fingers a bit. Using the bathroom does have some interesting surprises.

i'm sure they gave you some scripts for some meds, now is the time to take them,
don't need to be brave here, take some meds, get some sleep and let things heal
a little more.

that was one of the biggest things i learned with the bilateral hip replacements,
your body needs the rest to heal, so you have to listen to it and follow what
it is telling you.

sometimes i wonder if the pain block they do is worse because when it wears off everything
comes at you full force, I think without it you would know what to expect for pain levels
right off the bat and adjust meds accordingly

did they say surgery went as planned?

You sound like my wife she痴 been on me to take it easy. I broke my ankle on the 26th of November. Got a boot the 28th and been trying to get back to normal. The first week was rough but now I知 two weeks in it痴 business as usual. Still off work till probably jan 9th but lots of projects around the house. Rest is best but with CTR try to get back to normal ASAP. You can稚 hurt what they did, it will just cause you some discomfort. I did my right on a Monday, that Friday afterwards I was going a tractor job (chain binders are tough) and unbeknownst to me got into some poison ivy with my non bandaged hand. Well the next Monday (7days between R and L) I got my other hand done. It was soon there after I realized I had gotten into some poison ivy and it lit me up and not being able to touch it was torture. I also slipped in my creek when trying to pull out a culvert and caught myself with my palms on a 48 hdpe pipe. Now that genuinely hurt bad. The palms will be tender for a while. Don稚 mess with wrenches or ratchets unless you can do everything with your fingers and not palms. I love not having my fingers go to sleep all the time and I知 sure you will too
