Handle removal

Anyone know how these caps come off so the handle can be removed ?

Are you sure the handle doesnt simply unscrew.

Try popping off the plastic cap. I think the here's a screw or bolt under it holding the knob onto the lever.

I tried that just leary of it breaking

Just going by what I see here, and experience with removing knobs on some of the bigger tractors. They all came apart the same way.

It just snaps off, the nut is underneath.
